Ernest Staton, Jr., the founder of MrResurface LLC, has been reglazing bathtubs and resurfacing kitchen countertops since 1996. Ernest started his resurfacing career by reglazing bathtubs, then branched off by offering the additional service of countertop resurfacing. He approached this new service after doing a remodel project at a Waterbury, CT place of worship and seeing how well the resurfaced countertops withstood daily use by hundreds of people. Thanks to the success and durability of the countertop resurfacing application, he started offering it to homeowners, along with custom edging choices and unique color patterns.

The success of MrResurface LLC is largely due to the research and innovations that Ernest has put into advancing the resurfacing process, keeping MrResurface LLC ahead of the competition. Ernest has never been happy with the status quo of resurfacing and continues to integrate the latest available technology into his resurfacing process.
